22 febreiro - day 267One uncommonly sunny day in Santiago I walked by the river to visit all things green and mossy.
On the way back home I entered an abandoned house.
It was beautiful, as decaying things are. 22 febreiro - day 267One uncommonly sunny day in Santiago I walked by the river to visit all things green and mossy.

  • Me: I think I'm gonna make my students tell me both the story of Jesus and the story of Santa
  • Mel: "well Jesus was born in a stable in the North Pole, and when he grew up to save the world he decided the best way to do that was to be resurrected from the dead so he can deliver presents to kids once a year!"
  • Me: HAHAHAHAHA

Esteemed reader,

From the Santiago Public Library, we inform you that due to a temporary withdrawal that has occurred within the Galician reading club, there is a vacancy which we now offer to you. You may attend sessions until the reincorporation of the person who has withdrawn. Once that reincorporation has occurred, you will once again occupy your former position on the waiting list.

The deadline to inform us of your acceptance ends Friday the 15th of November 2013 at 23:59. If confirmation is not received, we will offer the opening to the next person on the waiting list.

We take advantage of this occasion to provide you with a list of standards held by the Library to ensure the functioning of this activity. We remind you that, in any situation, participation in our clubs require the acceptance of these standards.

We thank you for your interest in this activity and we hope that you enjoy it.

Receive a cordial greeting,

The Santiago Public Library

The alameda is a great place to sit and read beneath the trees in the yellow evening light.

Also a great place to take creeper pictures of other people reading.

You guys I have this problem where I buy notebooks and then I buy more notebooks and I don’t use them but I can’t help it because they’re PRETTY.I also have one with little umbrellas on it because it always rains in Galicia, so I use that one to write in Galician. Not sure what these ones will be for yet. But damn does this place inspire me. I’m sure something will spill out onto paper. 24 agosto - day 85
